The Barter Store was set to launch this August 21st, year 2020. Our objective is to help clean the environment by replacing plastics to food which tends to be harmful and toxic on the environment being non-biodegrable. Plastics can be replaced with rice, bread, groceries, meals, etc. to help feeding our less fortunate and promote a clean and green environment.
SMSI Foundation aims to widen our assistance and service to people and environment by putting up barter stores in several depressed areas all over the country enabling to feed more hungry lives and at the same time assist on environment clean up on a wider coverage.
Recycling Hub
A Recycling hub is now to rise in the city of Batangas situated in Barangay Talaga East with the generous assistance of the local government unit and the municipality of Mabini, Batangas.
On this hub, plastics are converted into bricks and hollow blocks ( 20-30 percent made of plastic) and sold to different establishments and residents. These types of bricks and hollow blocks builds a strong and decorative infrastructure that is “eco friendly”.
